My name is Sarah Bernstein. I am an Israeli Jew by choice, a British Jew by birth and upbringing. I live in Jerusalem, with my husband and three children. Having recently completed my doctorate in Peace and Reconciliation studies at Coventry University in England, I have decided to start writing a blog about the complexities of seeking peace in Jerusalem. My family and friends are probably already bored with my often passionately held positions on the subject. Frustrated with the deadlock of seemingly endless conflict, I wish to raise a public voice pointing out some of the anomalies of our situation. Sometimes my comments seem obvious to me, yet they are frequently not shared by others. Sometimes I myself struggle for clarity, as I try to pick apart layers upon layers of controversy and complexity surrounding different issues. I hope that this blog will be of interest to someone out there in the blogosphere.

  1. A voice I welcome into my life and will share with friends. Go Sarah!
